[ It's been some time since Samatoki's actually experienced something close to a Japanese experience. When he'd heard about a public bathhouse opening recently, he figured he'd pay a visit. It'd be nice to relax after all the shit he went through during Sanguis (aka daily bar fights...) Being able to relax with a bunch of people could be fun!
So in he goes. It's pretty late so there aren't that many people around. He notices this as soon as the steam clears. The tub is big enough for about twenty people, but there's only one guy in the water. ]
Ah. Hey.
[ Looks like he's yet to recognise Gentaro with his hair wet. ]
I'm comin' in.
[ And with that, he removes the towel from around his waist, and takes a step into the tub to sit down. The towel is then placed on the edge. A peaceful bath!!! ]
perhaps his life is doomed to repeat, stuck on some sinister loop. he can’t quite say things are exactly the same as they were the last time this similarly played out. ramuda, dice... and with the cordis moon high on the sky. a lot has changed and the numbing reality his may be permanent.. well, it’s enough variables mixed up.
gentaro’s fox ears only twitch a bit at the voice. it’s familiar and it takes him a moment to open his eyes and glance over to confirm who it is. ah yes. isn’t this a familiar track? )
[ Oh... It's— Samatoki blinks a couple of times to make sure he's correctly matching the face with a name. ]
Yumeno.
[ Hm. This is the first time he's seen the guy with his moonblessing's traits. Then again, it's not all that uncommon for people to sprout pointy ears. ]
It's like we only meet in the bath or somethin'. Weird as hell, if you asked me.
( or maybe they just like baths. either way, he angles his head more to the side to watch samatoki. he’s a peculiar one, a fuse that’s always lit, and while it’s entertaining gentaro hasn’t quite figured him out. yet.
his tail swishes, barely noticeable given his placement in the water. )
An honor that you’ll be joining me this evening. ( to ... bathe... that’s it. unless???? )
If you’re lying, I don’t quite know what the purpose of sending this text was, apart from the obvious ironic reversal. So I’m inclined to think you’re being honest in a roundabout way.
